Kay Gundlack Schuhmanufaktur
In the old clothier and shoemaker town of Parchim, Kay Gundlack finds the peace and inspiration he needs to create his bespoke shoes. Stars and celebrities order shoes from him and sometimes he even flies around the world to take measurements. In the specialist workshop in Parchim on the Elde River, visitors can watch the master at work in his shoe factory.

timkid is a company that produces high-quality and well-designed children's furniture made of wood. Hospitals, restaurants and hotels order children's furniture from Dömitz and there is even a changing table from timkid in the visitor area of the German Bundestag. Anke Meixner's workshop and gallery is located in the heart of the UNESCO Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. This is where she creates unique works of art out of paper. Bulow Palace
The family-run business of Iris and Norbert Leithold revives the centuries-old papier-mâché tradition of Ludwigslust. In 2013, they founded the Ludwigsluster Papiermaché-Manufaktur ("Ludwigslust Papier-Mâché Manufactory") in Bulow Palace, a magnificent royal seat. In workshops, guests can try out the old art of making papier-mâché themselves.
