Because Tim and Sabine Schinkel could not find a changing table for their own child that was of high quality and that could be installed in the bathroom to save space, designer Tim invented one himself. Today, timkid is the leading wall-mounted changing table manufacturer in Europe and it also produces versatile children's furniture. Tim's wife, Sabine Schinkel, is an occupational therapist and responsible for the furniture's ergonomic functionality. All timkid products are designed to be ergonomic and easy on the back for adults, while providing the child with optimal safety and variety of play opportunities.
